What is antisocial behavior?

It can be the feeling of not wanting to be around others or the feeling that satisfaction is not enhanced by interacting with others or the feeling that forming relationships with other people is not making you better in any way. It may also be a feeling that people do not understand you completely. Or a feeling that maybe you become too involved and relationships end up being burdens for you.

All this may point to a deeper spiritual problem.

In traditional Sanskrit, the heart chakra is called Anahata which means “unstruck”. The heart chakra is the fourth chakra, and it is located directly in the center of the chakra system between the breasts in the middle of the chest. This area represents expressions of compassion, love and how we relate to ourselves and others. A blocked heart chakra could result in antisocial-like behavior that could impact your personal relationships deeply. But balancing your heart chakra will make you feel freer and allow you to open up to others.

Symptoms of a blocked heart chakra:

  • Codependency or relying on the approval of others
  • Holding grudges and not having the ability to forgive
  • Developing a victim mentality
  • Breathing problems
  • Heart conditions
  • Lacking empathy
  • Being overly critical

These symptoms don’t always occur when your heart chakra is blocked. You may even experience more than what’s listed above. You may feel the two clear extremes: you’ll either feel complete isolation from other people or you’ll become dependent on others and lose yourself while seeking their approval.

The heart chakra is the pathway for creating deeper meaningful connections with the people around us. Make sure your heart chakra is balanced as it will help you lead a healthy and happy life.
